Thailand's White Temple will take your breath away. The structure, which is a
contemporary Buddhist temple, was built in 1997 by the artist Chalermchai
Kositpipat. Its extreme beauty (some might say divine) makes it a prime tourist
attraction. Sadly the temple was heavily damaged by an earthquake in May 2014,
and it is now structurally unsound. However Kositpipat has been working non-stop
to restore the temple. He has said he will devote the rest of his life to fixing it.
