People keep building these boring houses that look just like other houses which

 just goes on to make life mundane and boring. Some smart humans on 

the other hand have taken matters into their own hands and built these 

fabulous homes that we could only have dream of! Hats off to y’all!

1. The Salvaged Windows House

Owned by Nick Olsen and Lilah Horwitz, this home was created out 

of refurbished windows.

2.) The Hobbit House (Wales). This is a low-impact, woodland home.

It was built by Simon & Jasmine Dale and only took 4 months to complete.

3.) House on a rock

For 40 years, this tiny home has been perched on a rock in the middle

 of this beautiful setting.

4.) Floating House. Designed by Dymitr Malcew, this is a concept built 

for a Frenchdesigner who specialized in floating structures.

“The Floating house was designed for people who appreciate freedom and

 nature at their doorstep.”

5.) Tiny house. Macy Miller built this house to get away from mortgages and 

stress. It cost only $11k.

6.) Amazing shipping container homes.

7.)The Modern Hobbit Hole House

Most of the house is underground, but they built in an outside patio with stunning views.

8.) The Underground Home

This home, built into a hill in the desert, is completely camouflaged and 

energy-friendly.

9.)This home in Missouri, USA is embedded in a cave! The house took

 4+ years to be constructed and the home gives a very natural feel which 

ensures that the family doesn’t have to move out to get one with nature!

10.)The Waterfall House

The house was designed in 1935 by architect Frank Lloyd Wright when 

his clients demanded a large house that could accomadate huge numbers 

of people for parties on a very small plot of land. The house was built

 partially on a waterfall!

11.) Residence of Daisen (Japan). Instead of clearing out a forest for this home, 

designers built the structure to naturally weave in and out of the trees.

12.) Converted water tower home (England).

Homeowners Leigh Osborne and Graham Voce converted this water tower

 in just months into a luxury home in the middle of London.

13.) Grain silo homes. These homes can be built to be energy efficient. Plus,

 they use recycled materials.

14.)The Micro Home

The micro home is called the Nomad and is a very affordable home! 

It’s compact but it gives an illusion of more space because of the 

large windows!

15.) Izaak Walton Inn (Montana). At this property, you can stay in cars that were

 actually used on the Great Northern Railway.

The historic cabooses are currently being used as hotel accommodations.

If you are ever house-hunting in the future, remember: it’s not about who has the biggest
 and best house. Find a place to live that truly speaks to you, no matter what it looks like on
