99-Year-Old Lady Sews Nearly 1,000 Dresses For Children In Need

Lillian Weber of Bettondorf, Iowa, is an old lady that wakes up every morning
and begins to sew another dress that she will donate to children in need.
Lillian Weber, 99, makes a dress from scratch every single day so that a child in need will have something beautiful to wear.
She admits that she enjoys doing the dresses so much
that she wakes up everyday looking forward to her day.
For the past two years, Weber has made hundreds of
dresses because, simply stated, she just wanted to help people.
She’s made more than 840, and aims to make 1,000
 by her 100th birthday.
She first began her mission after spotting an advert in
a local newspaper asking for volunteers with sewing
skills to help the charity.
She simply loves what she does.
She also said she needs to stay busy.
She was quoted saying: “When I get to that thousandth dress, if I’m able to, I won’t quit, I’ll go at it again.”
