What They Converted This Old School Bus Into Is Simply Awesome. I Want This Thing So Bad.

It all started when they bought a 1995 International Flat Nose Genesis school bus for $3,000. They hoped to convert the school bus into a bus they could use for their band and ministry traveling. It sounds boring, but I never realized a school bus could end up lookingthis good.
The first step was getting rid of the seats, which was a long and painful process.
They also removed the plywood that was on the inside of the bus and also some of the windows, adding insulation and walls in their place.
After gutting the bus, it was time to give this baby a paint job.

It took a lot of prep and body work to get the bus into shape for painting.
But the result was beautiful.
Then, the construction on the inside began.
They added frames for rooms.
And also the framing for the dinette, kitchen and cabinets.

They decided to add indoor/outdoor carpet to the floor.
Instead of ugly metal being displayed in the front, some empty areas were covered up with wood.

Stone tile was chosen for the countertops.
Along with brand new, stainless appliances.
There were lots of wiring and plumbing to be added.

Once the wood staining was finished, the RV/bus truly started to come together.
It was a thing of beauty.

The luxury kitchen looks better than the one in my apartment.

The bus was completely converted into a luxury RV, complete with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and dining area. It sleeps up to 8 people. The table makes into a bed for 2 and there is the bunk room that sleeps 4 along with the master that sleeps 2.
They renamed it the “Good News Bus” and it makes other RVs seem downright boring. Just think of all of the awesome trips you could take on this thing.
